According to the 2019 Ontario Student Drug Use and Health Survey (OSDUHS), 15%* (10.3%, 20.9%) of Simcoe Muskoka students (Grades 7-12) reported problem video gaming in the past year, which was similar to the provincial average of 14% (12.7%, 15.4%). Simcoe Muskoka male students (26% (18.9%, 33.4%)) reported significantly higher problem video gaming than did female students (4% (1.9%, 7.2%)).
