These HealthSTATS pages provides data on hospital admissions and emergency room visits primarily related to mental illness and related disorders from 2011 to 2021. Hospital admissions to adult mental health beds are primarily recorded in the Ontario Mental Health Reporting System (OMHRS ), while hospital admissions among children and youth, and some adult admissions, are reported in the Discharge Abstract Database (DAD). Emergency room visits are reported by the National Ambulatory Care Reporting System (NACRS).
