Heart Disease
The term "heart disease" can be used to refer to several types of different heart conditions. The most common classification of heart disease is ischaemic heart disease (IHD) which is characterized by a reduced supply of blood to the heart. The most common appearances of IHD are angina pectoris (chest pain), myocardial infarction (heart attack) and atherosclerosis (hardening/narrowing of the arteries).
