Condom Use

According to the Canadian Community Health Survey (2003 – 2007/08) among Simcoe Muskoka residents (15-49 years) with more than one sexual partner in the past year, 54% (49.4%, 59.3%) reported using a condom the last time they had sexual intercourse. This was very similar to what was reported for all of Ontario for the same time period where 58% (57.2%, 59.5%) reported using a condom the last time they had sex.

Teens (15-19 years) reported using condoms more than other age groups (see Figure 1).
